In 2018, Moving Forward project successfully coordinated jointly with Kosovo institutions and civil society a Kosovo wide campaign to increase the awareness of citizens on trafficking trends and risks.
Among activities from the grantees, the project implemented a wide social media campaign, with the support of digital posters that were posted daily in the month long campaign, each carrying a message or a statistic about trafficking, in Albanian and Serbian languages.
An opening conference was organised with participation of highest level of Kosovo government and EU Office in Kosovo.
Many media appearances were organised with participation of Kosovo officials from Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kosovo Police, Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Justice, and Moving Forward project team.
Posters, leaflets and other materials were handed out in all the organised events, to multiply the effects of messages and information on points of contacts for the Kosovo police in case trafficking occurrences were identified.
In total, close to 100.000 people were reached through events, broadcast and social media.
