Ambassador Apostolova had a good meeting today with Gjakova/Djakovica Mayor, Ardian Gjini. They discussed the #EU support to the municipality: and in particular about EU-funded new heating plant which will provide high quality heating for 40 percent of population by 2020. They also talked about helping trafficking survivors, missing persons families, and communities.
Ambassador Apostolova also met some of the survivors of human trafficking. “Your courage to break from trafficking, work and earn for your families is an inspiration to all. I invite the society and the authorities to provide a bigger support for them,” said Ambassador Apostolova as she thanked the civil society activists and media for supporting these category.
