GRANTEES SELECTED FOR MOVING FORWARD PROJECT AND TRAININGS HELD TO SUPPORT THEIR PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

At a contract signing ceremony at the Ministry of Internal Affairs on 20 June 2018, the finalists for grants with the purpose of helping victims of trafficking were officially announced. The overall purpose of the call for proposals was to increase the range and quality of social care and protection services for victims of trafficking in a sustainable way, with emphasis on social inclusion and their reintegration. Out of a very competitive process of project applications, 5 winning organizations have been selected which implemented supportive and preventive activities for the existing and potential victims of trafficking throughout Kosovo. The winning organizations were Artpolis, Center for Promoting Women’s Rights, Hopes and Homes for Children – Kosovo, NGO Network “Qeliza”, and Liria.

In July, the Moving Forward project team trained beneficiary organizations of the grant scheme within the project on the topic of visibility, communication and reporting. Training in addition to capacity building and information reporting within our project helped organizations increase their communication skills and reporting to donors in general.
