Starting from 17 January 2018, the Center for Protection of Victims and Prevention of Trafficking in Human Beings (PVPT), our project partner, began to offer training to Kosovo’s centers for social work and shelters for victims of trafficking in improving their services in psychological treatment of potential and existing victims of trafficking.
Training is being implemented in 7 regions of Kosovo, namely Prishtina, Mitrovica, Prizren, Gjakova, Peja, Gjilan, and Ferizaj, including all the towns within these regions.
Up to 140 social workers and shelters are expected to benefit from trainings. Beneficiaries are learning more about various aspects of psychological treatment of trafficking victims, which is crucial to their integration in society.
